Black Sisters in STEM (Black SiS)

About Charity

Black Sisters in STEM is building the largest talent marketplace of Black college women in STEM across the US and Black diaspora. Black women constitute only 2 percent of STEM jobs. A statistic that has been stagnant since 2018. Black Women represent the largest unserved market and largest disruptive force in business. Black women struggle at every stage of the STEM pipeline. It’s not due to lack of desire, or capacity, it’s to lack of support. We have built an ecosystem composed of ~7.3k women in 24 countries. Black SiS is already working with companies such as Google, Goldman Sachs, Coursera, Bank of America, BCG, etc. We have been recognized by the UN, Nonprofit HR, Voodle, etc. By actively engaging historically marginalized populations organizations can access untapped talent to meet evolving workforce needs and reimagine work itself.

Charity Mission

Black Sisters in STEM is building the LinkedIn for Black College Women in STEM.
